How the AI works
The calendar is part of the licence for good. AI costs money every time it is used – so its rules are clear.
AI included
AI assistant, dictation and live conversation are included for 12 months from purchase: 100 minutes per month in the individual licence, 50 minutes per seat in the company licence.
You decide
After 12 months the included AI ends. You can buy minute packs or add your own API key – or keep working without AI.
The calendar stays
Calendar, tasks, projects, contacts, bookings, import and export keep working with no further payment.
Starter AI, then your choice
A one-time 5 minutes of conversation and 100 assistant messages – no monthly renewal. After that, conversations with purchased XMS minutes and chat with your own API key (OpenAI, Gemini, Claude). A key that does not work never switches to paid XMS AI on its own.

What is the difference between Essential and Lifetime?
Both are one-time purchases without a subscription for one personal account. Essential only includes one-time starter AI (5 min of conversation, 100 messages). Lifetime includes 12 months of AI with 100 minutes of conversation per month.
Can I switch from Essential to Lifetime?
Yes. We credit the net amount you paid for Essential – you only pay the difference.
What happens when the starter AI is used up?
The calendar keeps working without limits. Buy XMS minutes for conversations; use chat with your own API key, which the provider bills to you directly.
What does “Lifetime” mean?
You pay once and use the calendar without a subscription for as long as XMS Calendar is operated as a service. We will publish the exact licence terms on the day sales open.
What happens to the AI after 12 months?
The included AI ends. The calendar keeps working unchanged. To keep using AI you buy minute packs or add your own API key.
I already have a subscription. Can I switch?
Yes. After you buy the Lifetime licence, your subscription ends at the end of the paid period.
How does changing a person work?
The administrator assigns the seat to another person and decides whether the calendar is handed over or archived. Minutes and data belong to the seat.
How many seats do I need for a company licence?
Just one. You choose the number and the price is calculated at once. You can add more seats at any time.
Who is responsible for data protection?
With the company licence, your company is the controller of the data. We process it on your behalf; you receive the agreement with your purchase.
